Transportation troubles scuppered last Saturday's home opener for the Charles Hays Senior Boys Rainmakers, with both Caledonia and the Nass Valley cancelling out of the weekend of basketball in Prince Rupert.
If all goes according to plan, the Caledonia match up will be back on for tomorrow evening at the Charles Hays gym, with the Kermodes and Rainmakers tipping off at 6:15PM.
As we noted last week, this will make for the first opportunity for Prince Rupert basketball fans to get a look at the 2019-20 edition of the Senior Boys squad, who started their season on the road in Terrace and the North Shore of Vancouver.
From those journey's the team came out with wins in Terrace, followed by a second place finish in the No Regrets tournament and making an impression on the rankings panel in the South.
Last week, the Makers' jumped to top spot in the Province in AA Ball, that after their success in the Lower mainland.
Tickets for Wednesday evening's contest are $5 for adults, $2 students.
