Prince Rupert's Chinese Community and their guests set for New Year's celebration Saturday
Gung Hay, Fat Choy ...
That's the phrase most likely to be heard this Saturday at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre plays host for the annual Chinese Dinner and Celebrations hosted by Prince Rupert's Chinese Community.
The event which is one of the most popular celebrations on the Prince Rupert Social Calendar and offers a spectacular presentation of Chinese Culture, Music, Dance and much more
It regularly attracts a large cross section of Rupertites to help ring in the New Year, sharing in the celebration of the New Year with the strong and vibrant Chinese Canadian presence in the city.
The Doors to Saturday's event open at 5PM, with Dinner set for 6.
The Prince Rupert celebrations come at the end of a month long celebration of the Chinese New Year which began on January 21st and wraps up this weekend.

Tickets were available at Javadotcup on Third Avenue West, you can drop in and see if they still have any left for this weekend's New Year's event.
