Through their social media account of Facebook, the Liberals have picked up on a few Northwest themes in this first week of the campaign, in particular the controversial NDP nomination in Stikine, as well as to introduce the BC Liberal candidate Gitxsan Hereditary Chief and lawyer Gordon Sebastian.
However, so far, the news on the candidate search for North Coast is seemingly still a work in progress, with a note to stay tuned for further updates.
When they select their candidate, the Liberals will be hoping to jump into the campaign with some background as to what voters are thinking, asking for submissions to their Facebook page as to the key areas of concern for residents of the North Coast.
You can add your comments to their list from this post to their social media stream.
The BC Liberals are not the only political party yet to announce a candidate to try and take the NDP seat in the Legislature from MLA Jennifer Rice, neither the Green Party, or the fledgling eco-socialist party, the latter with more than a few issues to sort out internally it seems, have yet to announce their plans, if any, for the North Coast.
