Prince Rupert based Northern Savings has been busy helping food banks across the Northwest this month |
Last week Prince Rupert based Northern Savings Credit Union celebrated International Credit Union Day, Marking the October 15th event with an announcement and some cash donations that will be of help those in need across the Northwest.
As part of their efforts, the financial organization that has been a fixture on the North Coast for eighty years provided for 6,000 dollars to Food Banks in Prince Rupert, Terrace and Haida Gwaii.

The assistance to the local food program is one of a number of local groups that Northern Savings helps out through the year across the region.

This month is also Small Business Month across the province and as part of their participation in the event, Northern Savings has been putting the focus on Small Businesses across the Northwest and Haida Gwaii as part of their overall service to the community.
