Northern Health Update brings to fourteen the total number of those who have passed away from COVID at Acropolis Manor

The latest update from Northern Health has once again relayed some sad news, with the Health Authority advising that two more residents of the Prince Rupert Long Term Care facility have passed away from COVID-19, that now brings the total of those who have passed to 14 since the virus broke out in mid January.

Northern Health made note of the new total earlier this afternoon, as we outlined this morning the Prince Rupert facility is now the only Long Term Care home in the Northern health region currently in the midst of a COVID-19 situation.

Over the weekend, Northern Health observed that the total number of cases of those who have tested positive for COVID-19 has risen; with 33 residents and 23 staff members currently listed as testing positive for the coronavirus.
