The family orientated facility has 103 campsites available with fees ranging from 22 dollars per night for non electrical campsites and 30 dollars for those with electricity.
The campground is located as part of a 150 acre park just 3.5 kilometres east of the downtown area, the island features 4.5 kilometres of hiking trails around the perimeter with other shorter trails crossing through the area.
Today marks the first day for reservation taking, this year the first day for camping is set for Friday April 29th, the season continues through to past the Labour Day weekend in September.
The maximum stay in one stretch is 14 nights
