The BC Ferry vessel Northern Adventure's transit from Prince Rupert to Sikdegate tonight is just a bit behind schedule, with BC Ferries advising tonight that the crossing for Haida Gwaii departed 155 minutes behind schedule.

The original sailing time of 2:30 PM, how just a memory as the vessel makes its way across Hecate Strait.

BC Ferries attributes the two and a half hour delay to a heavy volume of traffic.
