All good things come to an end, and for those who have taken advantage of the Metlaktla Ferry Charter service to take visitors to the Wilderness Trail, the last sailing of the charter comes up on Saturday September Second.
The service was introduced following the Grand Opening of the Trail in May, the Charter service began on June 6th with twice a week service and has offered an opportunity for many in Prince Rupert and visitors to the region to explore the rebuilt trail.
Up until this spring, the trail had been closed for a number of years owing to significant damage following a storm in 2019.
When scanned, the QR code from the information sheet above, takes you to some background on the Trail from the Metlakatla First Nation.
