The Prince Rupert Port Authority and Coast Mountain Foundation will be offering financial awards towards studies at Coast Mountain College this fall |
Some additional funds for students attending Coast Mountain College will be available come the fall as the Prince Rupert Port Authority and Coast Mountain Foundation join up to create the Prince Rupert Port Authority Academic Excellence Award.
Additionally, PRPA funds the Supporting Trade Apprenticeships Award, which is open to students in any trade, in any year.
The two annual awards of $1,500 are open to Coast Mountain College students enrolled in any year of Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or Business.
The information release towards today's announcement outlines how the award program will work.
The awards are intended to reward academic excellence and a minimum GPA of 3.0 or trades equivalent is required.
