BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit called in as part of Terrace homicide invesgtiation

Terrace RCMP is being assisted by the BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit, as they try to determine the circumstances to a homicide in the 3000 block of Clinton Street in the Skeena Valley City over the weekend.

Upon arrival on the scene Terrace Mounties found one youth deceased, another with serious injuries and subsequently transported to Mill Memorial Hospital.

One youth was arrested and released from custody in relation to a homicide investigation over the weekend in Terrace. No charges have been approved by BC Prosecution Services at this time.

As the investigation continues, Terrace RCMP note that they do not believe that there is any ongoing threat to the community.
