Travels complete, Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP rail travels complete, with 2024 now the focus for progress on private members bill

Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach's trains ran on time and his cross country transit from Toronto to Smithers is now complete.

(**Update ** Almost complete, it seems we jumped ahead in the time compendium of the MP who rolled into Smithers on Saturday)

The Northwest MP rode the rails this past week to share word of his private members bill introduced earlier this month.

The journey from Canada's largest city to the town at the foot of Hudson Bay Mountain took the MP through the vast Geography and scenic vistas of Western Canada.

Some of it chronicled through a video posted to his Social Media Stream on Thursday, that online portal providing snapshots of his travel and the conversations that he shared on the rails during the course of his Great Canadian rail odyssey.

The MP's private Members Bill, C-371 (The Rail Passenger  Priority Act) seeks a renewal of VIA Rail's long distance fleet and a dedication from the Federal government to making passenger rail travel a priority for the nation.

The travel was preceded by a virtual town hall on rail travel days ahead of his trek.

Bachrach will be able to take his conversations from his near one week travels, back to Ottawa in late January when the House of Commons resumes and his private members bill continues along on its own track through the legislative process.

Follow up on his notes from the transit this week through his social media stream.
