The ongoing issue of Prince Rupert's housing situation and the lack of affordable housing in the community is about to get a fairly significant review, with a discussion forum planned for later this month to speak to the topic of concern in the region.
The public service union BCGEU is set to discuss the affordable housing situation in Prince Rupert, with the organization hosting an information event on Saturday, January 27th at the Crest Hotel.
The Prince Rupert Unemployed Action Centre shared word of the plans this week through their social media stream, with the five hour session in the BC Room at the Crest to take place from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Organizers are looking for RSVP's for those that may wish to attend the event, you can access the form here.

Perhaps you haven't heard yet, but the Crest has new ownership which also has an interest in the Housing issues of the region.
