A popular CBC Television program host is coming to town this weekend to see how Prince Rupert is doing, with Jonny Harris set to bring his look at small town Canada fighting the good fight to the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.
The Still Standing program now in its tenth season, has been one which celebrates the resolve of Canadian communities finding some hard times along with their community spirit, the show also serves as a pretty decent travelogue for Canadians to explore their own country.
Mr. Harris who recently won a 2024 Canadian Screen Award for his work on the Still Standing series will be the host for an evening of comedy and entertainment and as other communities have in the past, Prince Rupert will be the narrative for the night.
For those who haven't seen the program, you can catch up to its vibe from CBC Gem
Sunday's show at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre is a free admission event, with doors opening at 7 PM, the show is for those 12 years and above.
