Lax Kw'alaams hosting on line survey for member owned businesses
The Lax Kw'alaams Business Development office is delivering a new website to celebrate the growing number of business endeavours launched by their members, using the theme of Strength through Partnerships to highlight the approach in the community towards business development.
The website offers links towards member opportunities, as well as an area on how to do business with the First Nation that includes a large segment of the North Coast as part of their traditional territory.
Once it is complete, the new portal to deliver items of interest on business themes will include a News section, an area that will highlight the partnerships that the community is building across the region, as well as some background on the Business Development office and how you can contact them.
The portal also provides a link to ongoing job openings and training programs in the community
Towards building content for the website, Lax Kw'alaams is asking those residents with a business to share some information with them through a survey process.
The purpose of the survey its to gather information about the capacity and experience of member's businesses, as a way to ensure that Lax Kw'alaams business owners are ready to take advantage of any opportunities that future development projects may bring to the community.
The information that is collected will be put to use as part of the ongoing roll out of the business website, providing for promotional opportunities for those in the community that wish to participate in the program.
If you are member from Lax Kw'alaams you can access the survey here.
A look at the website as it evolves can be found here.
