The ebb and flow of the Prince Rupert restaurant scene has claimed the city's first establishment that featured Thai food, with the Aroy D having closed its doors last month, the building now back on the real estate market for it's next incarnation.
The taste temptations of Thailand had a twenty month run as a menu option on the North Coast, with the restaurant opening its doors in the old Fairview Restaurant location on Third Avenue West back in October of 2016.

The location itself had previously offered up Malaysian fare through the Wau Cafe, a nod perhaps to the then high anticipation for the Petronas led LNG terminal project at Lelu Island.
