The storefront has been open since April, but today marks the official commencement of operations with the regular office hours to be set from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday, with a break for lunch from 1 to 2PM.
The improving economic prospects in the Kitimat area made for the determining factor for CityWest to reopen their offices to service customers of their cable, phone and Internet services.
“We have noticed how the economic conditions are improving in Kitimat, and we thought this would be a great time to re-open our storefront and provide the community with an improved customer experience ... “We invite anyone to come into our storefront to check out the great Internet, digital TV, and phone products we have to offer” -- Tina Lussier, Vice President, Customer Service at CityWest.
Over the last five years, CityWest has spent over three million dollars in capital investment in the Kitimat area, much of it directed towards upgrades to the Kitimat network.
