Pembina begins recruitment for Operator Training Program
With the AltaGas liquid propane terminal on Ridley Island now in operation, the next project in line is ramping up its plans for launch of the second LPG terminal to ship off the North Coast, with Pembina now recruiting applicants for their Prince Rupert Operator Training program.
With a launch date of September for the training program, Pembina is set to host a pair of information sessions at their Third Avenue office space in the Capitol Mall (105-515 Third West).
Those with an interest in learning more about the Pembina program can drop into the office on Monday May13 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday, May 14th from 9 to 11 AM.
Each session will feature rotating presentations with a Question and Answer period and informal one on one interviews also planned for the two opportunities.
Some of the material that will be covered during both information sessions include:
Overview of the Operator Training program
Discussion of future roles that will be available later in 2019 and into 2020
An opportunity to meet the Terminal Manager
The Operator training program offers the opportunity to be paid while participants learn, with graduates leaving the program in May of 2020 with the qualifications to apply for permanent operator jobs at the Prince Rupert Terminal currently in the early stages of construction on Watson Island.
