Elections Canada has taken up the space once used by Farwest sports as official prepare to watch over the 2019 Federal election |
The building that once was the destination for sports and outdoor enthusiasts around the region, will now serve to answer any questions of another form of competition.
That as the FarWest Sports building makes for the temporary home for Elections Canada, with staff ready to assist North Coast residents as they prepare to participate in the 2019 Federal Election.
The office located at 100 First Avenue West across from the Museum of Northern British Columbia will be the election HQ through the Federal campaign leading up to the October 21st vote.
From that location you can learn if you are registered to vote and register if you haven't; as well as to update any Electoral information that you may have seen changed since the last Federal election.

Those looking for voter information on the campaign now underway will find staff on location to answer their questions and offer guidance for voters. As well, the 100 First Avenue West location will be the host for the four advance polls set for October 11, 12, 13 and 14.
On the October 21st Election Day, residents will cast their votes at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre on McBride.
In addition to the registration work if required, residents of the North Coast can also inquire about job opportunities that are available with Elections Canada both in Prince Rupert and across the Northwest.
