A look at the past year for the Arts and what may be ahead for the future will be the theme for the Annual gathering of the Prince Rupert Arts Council, which has set Tuesday, June 22nd as the date for the Annual General Meeting, this year to be another Zoom event online.
To participate in the event you are asked to email the PRCAC at artseventspr@gmail.com to get further information on how to access the Zoom Session.
As part of the session member groups will provide reports on their past year of endeavours, and participants may even hear about an intriguing urban art project that was just announced by the Charles Hays Secondary Art Club.
Through the CHSS Facebook page, they note of some artwork that they have installed in the CowBay area, with the unique twist that it will only be able to be seen, when it rains ...
Ahead of the AGM, the Arts Council has also issued a call for nominations for the Council Board, should you have a name or two to suggest for the board you can outline you nominations and why you think they would be a good fit by contacting the council at prcac@citywest.ca
