It's frequently mentioned as one of the more prominent annoyances for city residents and a social media message from the city with some friendly parking reminders for the community, provided for the forum for a bit of parking venting this week.
That theme made for the top item of our list of Five most read items of the week, with a few other municipal themes capturing interest as well, including news related to the search for a new Officer in Charge for the RCMP in the city.
The 2021 Census results provided for a slight increase in the number of residents calling Prince Rupert home, and maybe a few of them are boiling water or buying up some bottled water, that after the first Water Advisory for 2022 from the City.
The final item that captured the interest of readers this week also focused on Municipal politics, with an announcement Councillor Blair Mirau that he will not be seeking a third term of office this fall.
However, the most read item for the week channels some of the frustration of residents when it comes to the always controversial themes of parking.
