If your New Year's Resolution is to throw a few rocks ... the Prince Rupert Curling Club has the appropriate venue for your plans.
The Curling season resumes on January 7th when the Curling Club at Seal Cove hosts the New Beers Resolution Curling Challenge, an evening of curling fun, catering from Much Gusto and the popular Prince Rupert beverage of Wheelhouse Beer on Tap in the Lounge.
The competition, if we can refer to it as such, features teams of four settling in for a fun 4 end curling game with equipment provided and beginners more than welcome, if not encouraged to head on out to Seal Cove to test out the sport.
The night is one that offers up a good opportunity to learn more about Curling on the North Coast, make some new friends and to check out the club and what it has to offer the community.
Admission to the event is by Donation and those that take part are in the running for Door Prizes and a 50/50 draw, Doors open on January 7th at 5 PM.
If you wish to enter a team you are asked to e-mail the club at princerupertcurling@gmail.com
More information on the New Beers Resolution Curling Challenge can be found on the Curling Club's Facebook page.
