As Mounties arrived on the scene they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds, the victim was then transported to Prince Rupert Regional Hospital by the BC Ambulance service.
As part of their investigation into the case file, police located and arrested the suspect and recommended 1 count of aggravated assault to the Prince Rupert Crown Counsel.
No name was released as part of the information statement from the RCMP related to the case.

The Prince Rupert Detachment notes that the incident was an isolated case and that there is no future risk to the public.
