City Crews to block access to alleyway between Second and Third Streets to allow for sewer work
Motorists and pedestrians who like to duck down the alley way between Fifth and Sixth Streets tin the downtown core will have to change their plans for the next little while, with City of Prince Rupert work crews set to block access to the alleyway route parallel to Second and Third Avenues West in order to work on some of the city's sewer infrastructure.
The notice was issued by the City on Tuesday, advising that the work is expected to take place for several days while the Crews take to their work.
As part of the alleyway closure, signs and flag personnel will be in the area to provide guidance for those travelling through the work site. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to heed the instructions as they enter the area.
