A pair of projects approved in the 2018 Budget will be up for discussion tonight, as City Council members hear from Ms. Corrine Bomben, the City's Chief Financial Officer who will outline the details of the financing plan through the Municipal Finance Authority.
The projects which are an upgrade of the City's RCMP Detachment Cell block and the purchase and installation of the the Public Works Office Complex will make use of a loan of one million, one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, which will see repayment made over five years with no provision for renewal.
Council will be asked to make a resolution to give authority towards the borrowing as part of their work from the Regular Council city agenda.
