The three days of golf and socializing takes place at the Smithers Golf Club with the event one of the main fundraisers for the Bulkley Valley health Foundation, with organizers also supporting the Smithers Community Cancer Care team with this yers tourney.
The mix of celebrities taking pare in this years event covers a broad spectrum of sports, music and television to name a few areas of note; included in the mix a number of NHL players both present and past
On the list once again for the popular summer event are Smithers own Dan Hamhuis and Joe Watson, as well as a number of Canucks alumni who are set to take to the links.

The Tourney also features Faber Drive as the house band for the event, as well as a live auction on Saturday with a growing list of items being collected for bidding.
The Smithers Celebrity Tournament got its start in 1992 and has celebrated the last 27 years raising funds for the Smithers Health care community.
