Road Remediation for East side

Westbound traffic was redirected at Donald today as
City crews worked along Sixth Avenue on the east side of the city

The burst of sunshine today has provided for a burst of road remediation on the city's east side with City Crews currently working on a stretch of Sixth Avenue East from Hays Cover Avenue to Plaza.

While the City notice posted this morning on Facebook suggested paving was on the agenda, so far the work seems more along the lines of preparation rather than pressing of blacktop.

With the work, westbound traffic has been rerouted along Ambrose Avenue.

The Sixth Avenue work is one of a number of projects that city work crews were taking on through the day, City Manager Robert Long has noted in his recent COVID-19 updates that city infrastructure works continues on, with workers taking a number of precautions towards COVID related safety.
