A notice atop the SEAFEST page of the Special Events Website shares the news and fate of the 42nd annual community festival, with organizers noting that they are working on the virtual project and will be sharing the details on what they have in mind in the weeks ahead.

With the government continuing to enforce a range of COVID related measures related to crowds and gatherings in communities across the province, the decision was probably already made for organizers, who will now turn their attention to building on last years virtual model.
The event in its virtual form will take place over the weekend of June 11-13
You can follow the SEAFEST website as well as their Facebook page to see what they have come up with for 2021 in the weeks ahead.
