A Split for 2022 for the BC Ale Trail's Northern destinations

Such is the growing popularity when it comes to travelling the province to explore British Columbia's craft breweries, that the Northern BC ALE Trail is now parting ways in the North at Prince George.

For 2022, thirsty and adventurous travellers will have two directions to choose when they reach Northern British Columbia's largest city, with the Ale Trail sending Beer aficionados to the northeast or the Northwest.

The Northwest Journey takes travellers from Prince George to Prince Rupert, with stops suggested in Burns Lake at Ursa Minor Brewing, located on a 540 acre cattle farm 100 km south of Burns Lake.

Further West two stops in Smithers are on the Trail, with both the Bulkley Valley Brewery and Smithers Brewing Company on the Ale Trail map.

Pushing on into the Skeena Valley the recommendation for the summer of 2022 is for travellers  to make a pit stop at the Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse, where they can rest up for the scenic drive along Highway 16 to Prince Rupert and the final destination of the westward Journey at the Wheelhouse Brewing Company.
