Another major step in the rebuild of the Prince Rupert Water supply program has gone out for Bid.
With the City's of Prince Rupert using the services of the Prince George Engineering firm L and M to navigate the Bid Call.
The engineering firm outlining the scope of work towards the large water pipe that will bring water for a section of the transit from Shawatlan Lake to Fern Passage.
The call for tenders from L and M Engineering was posted to the BC Bid site on Wednesday, it outlines the scope of the work involved towards the installation of 333 m of HDPE water main and fittings, as well as the installation of a 106 foot Clear Span Bridge.
The work also includes the demolition of existing facilities along the route.
Closing date for the tender is March 1st, there is also a site visit offered, which would see city those interested travel to the area of work on February 7th.
Included in the prospectus of the project are documents related the Environmental management plan, Geotechnical Report and a set of drawings related the project.
