The 4.2 temblor rumbled offshore at 2:44 AM and was located 30 Miles southwest of Sandspit, 125 Miles southwest of Prince Rupert, it had a depth of 3 miles.
No Tsunami Warning was generated from the seismic event.
The West Coast/Alaska Tsunami Centre issued only one information statement on the event.
