While the weather has been, oh shall we say inconsistent, Prince Rupert's young soccer players haven't been denied their annual rite of Spring.
The 2013 Prince Rupert Youth Soccer Association season kicked off on April 2nd, signalling the start of the three month Soccer season on the North Coast.
The cool conditions and occasional rain of April, will eventually give way to the warm summer like days of late May and June, making for no better outing on a sunny day or evening.
Soccer is one of the more popular of youth sports on the North coast, with baseball long ago fading from the local sports scene for those under the age of 18.
With categories ranging from Under 6 to Under 19, the PRYSA finds its various fields filled with players through the week and on weekends.
You can learn more about the PRYSA from their Spring newsletter and from their website.
