The Road to Prince Rupert's All Native Basketball Tournament 2016 gets underway in November with Qualifying tournaments in a number of categories.
Last week, the ANBT organizers released a partial list of the teams that will be in the city in November hoping to book a return visit for February.
November's qualifying tournament runs from the 25th to 28th taking place at the Russell Gamble Gymnasium at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre
To date the teams that have contacted the ANBT offices included:

Nanaimo
Metlakatla AK
Gitsegukla
Intermediate
Kitamaat
Bella Bella
New Aiyansh
Seniors
Hazelton
Old Massett
Gitwinksihklkw
Masters
Port Simpson
Skidegate
New Aiyansh
The deadline for registrations and payment of the 450 dollar entry fee is November 10th, letters of intent and rosters are to be submitted by that day as well.

Organizers will only enter team that directly contact tournament officials and provide contact information for each team.
Tournament officials also revealed that there will be a new look for the Women and Masters Division this tournament year, with the order for purchase on Tuesday of a brand new Portable Court for use in those categories in February.
