BC Hydro advises of planned outage on east side for tomorrow

Residents of a portion of the east side of the city will want to make note of a planned power outage by BC Hydro for Friday, as Hydro takes care of some work required on equipment in the area of India, Jamaica and a portion of Immanuel Street.

The notice was posted to the BC Hydro website and notes that the outage is expected to last three hours between 1 and 4 PM on Friday.

Those that will be affected by the outage were also notified by BC Hydro by way of an information sheet delivered to their homes over the last week.

In addition to Friday's power interruption on the east side, business owners on Mishaw Road should note that Monday will also see a required power interruption, as Hydro works on equipment in the Industrial park region of the city.

The Monday power outage will take place between 5:30 and 9:30 PM.
