Maintaining the city's key bridges continues to be a large challenge owing to the aging nature of the structures, which have been providing vital transportation links through the decades as the city's footprint has expanded.
At the August 22nd City Council Session, Councillor Nelson Kinney thanked Broadwater Industries who had worked on the Bridge project and noted the success of the project and the ability of Broadwater to finish their work with limited impact on the Atlin/Graham neighbourhood.

And while one infrastructure job is complete, there is always something ahead for the City to tackle.
City work crews are currently working on water pipe issues in the alley at 9th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue West.
As the project moves ahead, Ninth Street has been closed to traffic at both ends, work is expected to continue through the first part of September.
