Port development, though not in Prince Rupert, was of some interest to our readers this week, with our notes on a proposed development for the Stewart area attracting the largest number of views on the week.
Other items that found strong numbers over the last seven days included a search for two missing sisters in Prince Rupert and the call for applications from the City of Prince Rupert for two positions on the Board of Tourism Prince Rupert.
Politics also featured in the weeks review, with our article on John Horgan's cabinet planning and one Vancouver journalists belief that North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice may get the call before the July 18th swearing in ceremony.
As the week came to an end, a State of Emergency had been declared in British Columbia as wildfires raged through the Cariboo and Interior regions, with our archive of items posted Friday night finding strong interest as the weekend moved forward.
The top story of the week however, puts the focus on the plans for a proponent in the Stewart area to build a port terminal facility in that area that could have some impact on potential development for Prince Rupert.
