For the city of Prince Rupert and its hopes of extracting some extra cash from Victoria, it appears to be a case of that old standard from The Who of ... Meet the Old Boss, Same as the Old Boss, with the NDP government on the receiving end of some pointed statements from the municipality.
Fishing notes also found a strong audience on the week, as the theme of the North Coast fishery found some attention at the Legislature.
The week also found a few sitrrings when it comes to LNG development particularly for the Kitimat area, all of it spurred on by a report by Shell that a potential LNG shortage may be in the immediate future when it comes to global supplies.
A pair of municipal issues also captured spots in the top five items of the week, with our notes on what seems to be a wrap on the ReDesign Rupert initiative gaining a strong audience.
While our look at a question from Monday's council session on the plans of Council when it comes to continued full time compensation for the Mayors position also attracted a large volume of readers.
The top story of the week however, puts the focus on the hometown for the North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice and some notes on how the civic government views relations with the province.

Au Revoir ReDesign Rupert? -- One of the city's planning initiatives has seemingly run its course, with no new items or notes related to the ReDesign Rupert program explored since last August (posted February 26, 2018)
North Coast well represented at Fisheries Conference in Vancouver -- Themes of the North Coast fishing industry dominated much of the work of MLA Jennifer Rice this week. Monday she made note of a conference that she, Mayor Lee Brain and Councillor Joy Thorkelson had attended. That would be the fist of three fish industry related items that would be introduced to the legislature, the others can be reviewed here, here and here. (posted February 26 , 2018 )
