Blog Watching: Week ending October 6, 2019
The quest for election campaign information seems to have spurred on the looks this week at our notes on the plans from CityWest to showcase three of the upcoming election forums in the Northwest.
Our notes on the forum scheduling found the largest readership on the week, making for one of two CityWest items over the last seven days to capture readers attention, with our look at a new marketing video from the communication company also generating some interest.
The remainder of the list of five found the latest Boil Water Notice for the city of Prince Rupert of some interest, as residents of the Graham/Atlin area and surrounding streets of Section Two affected.
Another of the city's local social oasis' has closed its doors, with the owners of the Seal Cove Neighbourhood Pub announcing its closure just before last weekend.
A closure of a different kind also made news this week, with Regional District announcing that the Transfer Station outside the Kaien Road Recycling Centre will soon be closed.
However, the top item of the last seven days takes us to the Federal Election campaign, and the upcoming opportunities to hear from the candidates first hand at a number of regional election forums.
