CityWest hails the options available towards improved Wi-Fi access, including a helpful note for the North Coast Review!

Images on your screen may not  quite resemble the reality of local blogging!

The latest in marketing videos from Prince Rupert based communication company CityWest brings customers and would be customers up to speed ... literally, up to speed we might add ... on the advantages of their expanded options for Wi-Fi connectivity.

Part of an ongoing catalogue of marketing videos that make use of local acting talent, this latest edition explores the frustrations of (and solutions for)  spotty Internet connection in the home and how it may impact on some of your home activities ...

And for Exhibit A ... CityWest takes  you to their concept of the home office for the North Coast Review!




Now, we do appreciate the shout out from our local Internet provider, but a few things about our "if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere" moment in the video.

While Rudy Kelly did an admirable job of channelling De Niro for his portrayal of your humble blogger, there were a few deviations from our life's script ...

Firstly, we're a couple of laps around the track from 25 years old; as well, on a personal grooming note we do appear to shave more frequently than Mr. Kelly does.

And to be honest, we do seem to get out of our blogger's cave more frequently and relate just a tad more socially with our visitors than has been depicted from a performance that surely warrants consideration for a CLIO.

We will however testify to the importance of a strong connection to the outside world!

And while we may have a few thoughts on how the communication juggernaut on Third Avenue West views our earnest efforts at note taking around the community ...

We have no complaints about our connection to the wired world through CityWest ...  and that's even without the Wi-Fi signal enhancer!

Though if you are finding your Wi-Fi reception spotty, the enhancer would seem like a sensible solution, allowing you to get the latest updates from the North Coast Review with split second access!
