Ice making skills in demand for Civic Centre position with the City of Prince Rupert


The key to the home ice advantage for the Prince Rupert Rampage and the teams of the Prince Rupert Minor Hockey Association and skaters of the Prince Rupert Skating club, all comes from the care and attention that ice at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre receives when the ice plant is in operation.

And, now if you have a talent for ice making, your chance to be part of that home ice advantage has arrived!

The latest job opportunity from the City of Prince Rupert puts the focus on the Civic Centre and a call for applications for an Ice Maker for the facility.

The Ice Maker II opportunity is a casual position which reports to the Maintenance coordinator is a CUPE Local 105 position  with a rate of pay set at 30.93 to start.

The deadline for applications to David Geronazzo, the Director of Recreation and Community Services is November 23rd.
