Depending on how fast, or if they want to get to the television sets to follow the Federal Election returns, tonight's City Council session may not mark much more time than the one at the start of the month, with a fairly short Agenda up for review by Council members at 7PM tonight.
The evening starts off with a Committee of the Whole session, moving on to the Regular Council session and a pair of reports from the City Planner.
A request for letters of support by the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Society, some announcements from a previous closed session and a Zoning amendment request for a property on the city's west side make for the bulk of the work on the night.
The evening wraps up with Council Members offered the opportunity to raise in public forum, any items of interest or concern that they may have.
