Students who are currently enrolled in the full time Automotive Foundations program or apprenticeship or Business Administration at Coast Mountain College could pick up some extra cash to help reduce their educational costs.
The program which was announced today is a partnership of the Terrace Auto dealers and the New Car Dealers Foundation, with three award categories now available for students at Coast Mountain College.
There will be four Automotive Foundation Awards of 1,500 dollars, two Automotive Apprentice Awards of 1,000 dollars each and two Business Awards of 1,000 dollars each available for applicants.
The awards are part of a three year program, with next year the final opportunity of the financial award program, unless of course it is extended.
To apply, students at Coast Mountain College must meet the following criteria:
Be a Canadian Citizen and Resident of British Columbia
Be enrolled Full Time in Automotive Foundations or Apprenticeship, or Business Administration
Receive recommendation from an instructor
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on transcripts
And submit an essay on your career goals and future plans
