Yet another shake up for the local media scene with TV7 vacancy

CFTK's Btittany Webster has hit the trail, reportedly taking on
new media duties in the Okanagan area

Prince Rupert's local newspaper is not the only media group to see some recent change, the latest shift of personnel coming to the Broadcast Journalism field earlier this month.

That with the apparent departure of Brittany Webster, the local reporter for TV7 the Terrace based television station that serves the Northwest.

Ms. Webster arrived in the city in the fall of 2018, having made the move to the North Coast from Ontario where she had gained experience in university radio.

Her placement among the News Team for CFTK was recently taken off the group shot, which suggests that her story on upcoming plans from the Kaien Island Trail Enhancement Society made for her last bit of work in the Northwest.

A somewhat appropriate farewell for someone hitting the trail for new opportunities.

Ms. Webster has reportedly moved on to a media position in the Okanagan area of the province.

The last time TV7 was on the search for a reporter for its North Coast office the quest took six weeks to find a new journalist, leaving a good portion of the city's items of note missing from the news flow through that period.
