Tonight residents in the Northern Health region can participate in a similar event

A chance to learn more about how health authorities have responded to the COVID-19 health emergency comes up tonight for residents of the North, as the latest in a string of virtual Town Halls takes place for residents in the Northern Health Authority region.

As we outlined last week, the community engagement program has been rolling on through the last seven days, with a mix of MLA's and Health Authority officials hosting the events, taking submitted questions and live questions during the broadcast on a range of themes related to COVID-19.

Tonight's Virtual Town Hall is co-hosed by MLA Doug Donaldson and MLA Mike Bernier and will launch at 7:15PM, streamed live through the Province of BC Facebook page and other Facebook streams offered by the province.

Joining the MLA's will be Northern Health CEO Cathy Ulrich and Northern Health Medical Officer Raina Fumerton.

You can get a sample of what the one hour sessions has provided to date from the Island Health session which streamed live last night, you can view that session here.
