One of the final summer camps of the summer of 2021 is underway this week at the Doug Kerr Field, with Prince Rupert recreation offering up a one week program of softball fun for Children from ages 7 to 12.
The program hosted by Mimmo Ciccone features two age categories Ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 with the younger group taking the field in the morning, with the 10 to 12's in the afternoon.
The camps are coming in the wake of a successful Softball season in Prince Rupert and will include fun interactive games that will focus on skill development in several different areas, including; proper warm-up, throwing mechanics, base running, hitting fundamentals, infield and outfield defense, pitching fundamentals, and an introduction to catching.
The Softball camp is running through until Friday
