Final Day for Registration for Salvation Army Christmas Hamper program

The one month period to register for the Salvation Army's Christmas Hamper program will come to an end this afternoon. 

The program one which has seen increased use over the last decade as the economic times for those in need have continued to bring challenges.

The Registration Period began in mid October, with those looking to add their name to the list to contact the Salvation Army at 250-624-6180 Extension 2

Those that are looking to access the program this year will need to have some ID handy for each member of your household, as well as a list of expenses and income for when you call in. 

Once registered, those requesting hampers will be assigned a pick up date upon completion of the registration process.

Towards the Hamper program, if you have a toy wish list for reach child, you are asked to share it at the time of registration so the Salvation Army and the program workers can try to ensure that at least one thing that has been asked for makes it into the package.
