Another "Heads Up" on wind issued by Environment Canada

Another weather system from the Southeast is set to make 
for a wet and windy week for the North Coast and Haida Gwaii


Another pacific front is making its way from the Southeast with the North Coast and Haida Gwaii once again the destination for the weather maker.

With it comes a WIND WARNING issued this morning by Environment Canada calling for Winds rising on Tuesday morning, reaching 90 km/h with gusts of up to 110 km/h by the afternoon.


With the wind will come rain through the week, along with the possibility of Snow for the North Coast by Friday. 

Tuesday to be the wettest of the days with up to 45 mm of rain anticipated.


The Marine Forecast likewise has a warning for Mariner's with a Hurricane Force Wind Warning now in place for later today, tonight and through Tuesday.

From it comes Winds building up to 65 knots by Tuesday afternoon, with Seas of 6 to 8 metres by that part of the day.
