With the January recovery period now over, those who have true resolutions in mind to get into shape may find the Learn to Run program offered by the Rupert Runners of some interest.
Designed for participants ages 14 and up, the Learn to Run program provides a gradual walk/run plan developed with the Sport Medicine Council of British Columbia, using local experienced runners from the community who volunteer their time to help new runners reach their goals, perhaps even to join in with the string of local running events through the year.
The popular running program in the city is preparing to launch their winter program, with the first session set for Tuesday February 10th at the CHSS track.

Cost for the program is thirty dollars, with a registration opportunity coming up tonight at the Prince Rupert Library at 7 PM.
