Metlakatla organizes Cemetery clean up day for April 27

Members of the Metlakatla First Nation can take advantage of some upcoming plans being put together by their Council to do some maintenance and cleaning of family plots, with April 27th the date set aside for the community project.

On that day, the Metlakatla Council has arranged for ferry and small boat transportation for the day long work at the cemetery, though they do advise that capacity on the ferry is limited and that reservations are suggested.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they wish and to dress appropriately for the weather.
