Prince Rupert Port Authority has a short list; you have the final word on where a 10,000 financial award will go

For much of this Fall, the Prince Rupert Port Authority has been looking back at ten years of Community investment programs, highlighting some of the projects that they have provided some financial assistance towards to bring the plans to life.

As they bring an end to the review and 2020, the Port is now inviting those who follow their Social Media pages to take a look at their short list and the vote on which community group project will receive an additional financial award to continue with their work.

Among the candidates for the Project of the Decade are:

Rushbrook Trail
Lester Centre of the Arfs
North Pacific Cannery
Prince Rupert Gymnastics Association
333 Trinity Recovery House and North Coast Transition Society
Charles Hays Field Turf Replacement
Search and Rescue Equipment Upgrades
Community Kitchens and Greenouses
Medical Imaging
Shames Mountain
Salmon Enhancement


As part of their celebration of the 10 years of Community involvement, a 10,000 dollar financial award will be directed to the organization that the voters have selected.
