The afternoon of fun will get underway at Noon and carry on until 4 PM, among some of the activities you and your family can participate in are a Free Swim at the Aquatic Centre.
Over at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre, there will be an Open Auditorium and Gymnasium, where Basketball, Floor Hockey and the Climbing wall will all be available for free use.
As well, RTI has a Bounce A Lot lined up, some face painting set to go, along with free hot dogs and juice.
For those looking for some visual entertainment on the afternoon, there will be Family movies for the viewing in the Civc Centre Cinema.
In addition to the free activities at the Civic Centre, RTI advises that the Metlakatla Ferry will be available to bring families to and from the Community Day event in Prince Rupert.
